Emerson Academy's inclusive After-School Program



What to Bring:

* Backpack (can be the same backpack used at school)

* extra clothes

* Diapers/pull-ups and wipes (if needed)

* Water bottle

 Please label everything with your child’s first name and last initial!
Our Schedule:
2:45-3:30 - Arrival / Health Check/ Bathroom Break
3:00-4:00 – Wash Hands/Centers (Homework help, Snack, Manipulatives, Art, Music, Home Living)
4:00-4:20 – Circle Time
4:20-4:30 -- Bathroom Break
4:30-4:45 – Music and Movement
4:45-5:30 – Recess / Gross Motor Skills
5:30-6:00 – Free Choice Centers

  • Our Ratios:
    The Beetle Class offers a low-ratio (1:6) learning environment for School Aged Children.


The Emerson Foundation

FoundationGreenSmEmerson Academy is a program of The Emerson Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports community efforts to provide early education to children with special needs. It is classified as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations made to The Emerson Foundation will qualify as tax-exempt donations under section 170 of the IRS Code. The Emerson Foundation is also qualified to receive bequests, devises, transfers and gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the code.
